ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP/TRADEMARK GUIDELINES
THE SOCIETY OF ORTHO-BIONOMY INTERNATIONAL®
The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International® (SOBI), founded in 1984, is a non-profit, mutual benefit association incorporated for the purpose of promoting Ortho-Bionomy and overseeing Practitioner and Instructor Training Programs. The Society also insures proper use of these federal trademarks: Ortho-Bionomy®, the sand dollar design and The Society of Ortho-Bionomy International®.( see below for full trademark guidelines)
Students who wish to apply for appointment as Registered Practitioners of Ortho-Bionomy must enroll in the Practitioner Training Program, be members of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International and fulfill all the educational and administrative requirements of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy Practitioner Training Program.
Membership in the Society of Ortho-Bionomy supports the development of Ortho-Bionomy and provides access to information and resources for students, practitioners, teachers and the public. The Society maintains a website and publishes an annual membership directory and a quarterly newsletter.

PROGRAM STUDENTS and the SOCIETY OF ORTHO-BIONOMY
Ortho-Bionomy® and the official sand dollar design are registered federal trademarks, and their use is regulated. To call oneself a Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy® and to use the sand dollar design in promotional materials a NMAHA Ortho-Bionomy program graduate must:
1) Be a current member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International®
2) have enrolled in the Practitioner Training Program with the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International
3) upon completion of all educational requirements apply to the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International® for appointment (completion of the NMAHA Program provides students with all the necessary educational requirements for application)
4) have paid all Society fees (Society membership, Practitioner training program enrollment fee of $100, and Practitioner Registration of $150) associated with the above.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Students who complete the 112 units Entry Level Intensive, plus other requirements (see full Associate Membership information below) are eligible to apply for Associate Member status and receive limited trademark privileges.
SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP FEES
All membership levels are for one year. Complete membership benefits and fully detailed trademark guidelines can be obtained from SOBI on request.
NEW Student Membership $55 annually ($50 for new members who sign up at a class)
Associate Membership $115 annually ($100 if enrolled in the Practitioner Training Program)
Professional Membership
Practitioner $150 annually
Instructor Annual dues depend on Instructor level
